Aim of our Trust

Most of the Maha Sangha access our Government medical system. The government hospitals whilst doing their utmost cannot cater 100% to the needs of the patients. Hence certain medicines and tests have to be resorted to from outside the hospital system. The waiting list for life saving surgeries are also too long prompting patients to seek treatment in private hospitals at huge costs. It is due to these prevailing circumstances that we have come up with this trust. The Trust aims to alleviate the burden felt by the sick and the infirm Bhikkus and Sil Matha’s at least to some extent. The trust will reimburse reasonable medical care expenses of cost of drugs, medical equipment and surgeries.
